Probiotics

Taking probiotics is important during a cleanse because while taking these herbs and killing off bad bugs they release toxins in to the body breaking down the gut. We want to repair the gut microbiome with good bacteria for a healthy immune system, healthy digestion, better mood, cognitive function, energy levels, and more. You can get probiotics in 2 different main ways: You can get them from either eating fermented foods that contain natural probiotics or by taking a good probiotic supplement.

If your gonna be choosing fermented foods just make sure you check the labels to make sure that it says, "Source of Probiotics" or "Naturally Fermented" or something to that extent and not just mixed with Vinegar to make it seem and taste like it's fermented. Some of these foods include: Kimchi, Coconut Kefir, Milk Kefir, (Non-Dairy alternative), Miso, Kombucha and Sauerkraut.
